Good morning! I hope you all had a great Valentine’s Day yesterday!
I had a fun surprise waiting on my doorstep when I woke up.
A present from my dad! Valentine’s Day is all about celebrating all the loved ones in your life.
And I will be celebrating those giant peppermint patties
I usually leave a trail of Hershey kisses for the kid’s to find in the morning, but this year I made a series of different clues that lead them to a special Valentine’s Day surprise.
They loved following the clues around the house to find their surprise!
After the kids went to school, I went to the gym. I am still taking it easy, so I did the following stretches/exercises for my hip and glutes:
- clam shells
- one-legged bridges
- band walking side-to-side
- lying glute stretch
- side plank
Yesterday’s plank day #14 – 1:30. I finished my workout with an easy 30 minutes on the Arc trainer.
I have really been trying hard to eat better lately.

I really would like to lose a little weight and really focus on toning. Weight loss is all about eating healthy and clean. That’s the part that I sometimes struggle with because I love my sweets, but I really have some goals that I would like to accomplish. I will be starting a new diet plan on Monday and will be a bit different from how I eat now and I really hope it’ll help me see results.
I love working out and could spend all day in the gym. It’s the eating part that I struggle with and that’s the most important part! I am excited about starting this new plan, and I really hope I can follow it perfectly.
Today, is Jaden’s birthday party with his friends from school and tomorrow is his family party. It’s going to be a busy weekend!
