Lékué Omelet Maker Review

I recently tried out the Lékué Omelet Maker – a unique silicone omelet maker that can go right into the microwave.

I’ve never had microwaved eggs before so I was a little hesitant at first, but my omelet came out perfect and delicious. The best part was how fast it cooked! Mornings are usually a rush in our house so the faster I can get breakfast made the better.

The omelet maker is one piece of 100% platinum silicone and is super easy to use. I decided to make a veggie and egg white omelet.

I scrambled three egg whites with a bit of almond milk and set them aside. Then, I put all my veggies into the omelet maker. I used red onion, green pepper, red pepper, and spinach.

I closed the omelet maker and cooked the veggies for about 2 minutes in the microwave. Then, I poured in the egg whites and topped it with a little bit of mozzarella cheese.

I popped it back into the microwave for about another 2 minutes and it was done.

Easy, delicious, and fast.

The Lékué Omelet Maker is easy to use with whatever ingredients you have on hand – whole eggs, egg whites, veggies, cheese, meats. Or it’s a great way to just cook up some plain eggs!

Overall, I think this is a great omelet maker that’s easy to use and makes a healthy breakfast quickly.

Egg White Omelet Ingredients:

  • 3 egg whites
  • splash of almond milk
  • 1 oz. red onion
  • 1 oz. red and green peppers
  • 10 baby spinach leaves, torn
  • salt and pepper to taste.
  • 1/8 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Directions:

  1. Mix egg whites and almond milk. Add salt and pepper to taste. Set aside.
  2. Add veggies to omelet maker and cook approx. 2 minutes.

My hip felt really good yesterday and today. It’s still not 100% but I’m surprised that it’s felt better than it has in a long time. Hopefully, it’ll just get better from here! I have a meeting at the gym this morning and then I am going to try to do an upper body workout.

Have a great day!

I need something like this. I suck at making omelet on the stove.

  3. I like that this can go right in the microwave! Glad your hip is starting to feel better!
