Yesterday’s Evening Workout
- Zumba – 60 minutes
I know that I have been working out quite a bit these past few days, but this Bingo game has me addicted! I love games and contests, and I am not usually a competitive person until I play a game like this. Then I’m all : I must fill the most bingo cards.
Yet another picture of my Bingo card. It’s visual effect, people, visual effect.
And I have a legit excuse for my crazy hair today – it’s raining.
Also, I have the time right now to workout often. Who knows where I’ll be in a year, or five years, or even six months from now. But right now, I am able to workout a lot, so I do. It keeps me healthy and happy, but I know when my body is tired and needs a rest day, so I take it. Plus, we have plans this weekend, and I probably won’t be working out at all.
Zumba started at 7:25 pm last night, and it was so weird going to the gym while it was dark out. I felt like I should have been going to bed, not to work out. It’s also weird going at night because I didn’t recognize anyone (expect one women) out of about 30 people. It’s funny how when you go to the gym or classes at a certain time, you see the same people, the same faces.
It’s always the same group of people in every single morning class that I take. So, I was almost uncomfortable last night, I kind of felt like an outsider. Plus, since its free fitness month, there was so many people there. There was probably about 30 of us crammed into the room, which is small to begin with. But nevertheless, Zumba is such a fun class!
Yesterday afternoon, I had to run to the mall with the kids. Have you seen the new hoodies they have out for kids now?!
And no, it’s not a Halloween costume. It’s an everyday hoodie. I think they are ridiculously stupid. (No offense, if you own one or like them, but I do not). It’s a hoodie that zips all the way over the kid’s face and head with a mesh material over the eyes to see out of. Seriously?! Doesn’t seem too safe or school friendly to me.
Jaden made sure to try on some hoodies while were there….while they were still on the hanger.
Doesn’t he kind of look like a little Frankenstein?
- 20 minutes elliptical
- BodyPump – 60 minutes
A few of you commented yesterday telling me that pumpkin spice bagel thins actually exist! So, I searched the internet trying to find where I could buy them, and it looks like the only place you can buy them near me is Sam’s Club. Unfortunately, you need a membership to shop at Sam’s Club, which I don’t have.
Then someone else mentioned checking Wal-Mart (which owns Sam’s Club), so after BodyPump today, I went to my local Wal-Mart to see to see if they had them. They didn’t. Bummer. But they did have these pumpkin muffins.
Which I didn’t buy. I will not be deterred! There is one other Wal-Mart near me that I will check for those pumpkin spice bagel thins. They will be mine!
Since I was at Wal-Mart, I picked up a few things for this weekend.
And yes, those are jello shot cups.
I’m supposed to meet with my running group tonight, but with the rain, I’m not sure if that’ll happen. Hopefully, it’ll stop raining. If not, maybe I’ll go to yoga!
Questions of the day:
- Are you competitive?
- Favorite pumpkin food item?
- Jello or pudding? Pudding, pudding, pudding.
