In case you missed things over the weekend, I:
Yesterday morning, Jaden and I ran over to Whole Foods to pick up a couple of things.
Hello, delicious mango salsa.
While we were in line to check out, Jaden grabbed a box of Clif kid’s Z bars in the honey graham flavor and asked if he could get them. (Of course they put all the kid’s products near the register!) I told him not this time because he had never tasted that particular flavor, and I didn’t want to be stuck with a whole box of bars if he didn’t like them.
The cashier overhead me and told me to bring the Clif bars over to the service desk and they would let Jaden sample them since he’s never had them before. So, we pay for our groceries and Jaden happily carries the box of bars over to the service desk, and I explain what the cashier said, thinking they grab a single bar off the shelf or something to let Jaden try out.
Nope. She scans the box and hands it to me and says there you go.
What?! We got the whole box to try out for free. I was kind of amazed for a second. Apparently, if you’ve never tried a product at Whole Foods before and you want to, they’ll let you try it for free. I thought that was pretty cool.
By the way I’ve never tried that $30 salmon before either…. I’m kidding. I wouldn’t take advantage of it, but I thought it was great that they gave Jaden the whole box for free, especially because I just spent $40 on one bag of groceries.

A while after we got back from Whole Foods, my dad came over to try the small amount of chili that I saved for him.
He makes awesome chili that everybody loves, so I wanted to get his opinion on my chili. He said it was a success. Maybe not quite as good as his, but still good His recipe is just a lot different. He uses a lot more veggies and a lot more hot sauce.
Later in the evening, we decided to go to SuperDawg for dinner.
My dad and I had seen SuperDawg when we went to Bob Chinn’s restaurant a few weeks ago, and he’s been wanting to go ever since.
It’s a drive-in restaurant, but you can also get out of your car and sit at a table.
I had the fish sandwich. It came on an onion roll which I was super happy about because I have been craving an onion roll, but always stick to my whole wheat bagel thins. Even though it was good, I had eaten a lot of pumpkin spice Hershey kisses throughout the day and wasn’t too hungry, so I only finished half.

My shoulder is still slightly bothering me, so I made sure to take it easy on the shoulder track during BodyPump today. Post workout, me and my crazy hair had some chocolate milk.
Today’s the last day to enter my giveaway, so don’t forget to check it out! Winner will be posted tomorrow!
