It’s Monday!

In case you missed things over the weekend:

Pre-workout this morning, I made some egg whites with a little bit of green and red pepper and blueberries on the side.

Today was the kid’s last day in the kid’s room at the gym, so we went to Dunkin’ Donuts and got Munchkins for the kids to share and bagels and cream cheese for the teachers. Trust me, it was cause for a celebration – my kids do not behave in that kid’s room and I’m sure they drive the teachers a bit batty.

Not that my kids are “bad” or “naughty”. They are just overly energetic :) And being crammed into a tiny room with a bunch of other kids and babies isn’t the funnest thing for them. But now it’s back to school time!

Leaving the gym:

For a post-workout snack, I brought a caramel Greek yogurt with.

So good! My local Target finally started carrying these again.

This afternoon, we’re off a doctor’s appointment. If you’re wondering if we spend most of our days at the doctor’s office, the answer is yes. Yes, we do.

  1. My workout consisted of running around the park while my kids played. I also managed to work in some squats, lunches and step ups on a bench. It was a good one!! Do your kids start back to school tomorrow?

  4. OMG: bagels and cream cheese for the teachers??? If I had your kids as students, they would be set with A’s for life!! What an awesome idea! Seriously, the best Christmas gift I ever got from a kid was a 12 pack of Diet Pepsi.

    My favorite thing I did this summer was kayaking in Vermont. I did not go to the Botanic Gardens, but maybe I’ll still go sometime soon.

    My workout today was Group Active and Group Power. I probably will go to Yoga tonight.

  8. My favorite thing this summer was starting my blog. I had no idea how much I would enjoy it, but I do!

  9. I agree with Michelle @ Eat Move Balance. My favorite things were starting my blog and playing with my son! I’m a teacher, so it’s back to school for me!

  10. My workout today was a short bike ride with the kids. We still have two more weeks of summer vacation and one more camping trip to look forward to.
