Working Out Together

Happy Friday!

Yesterday

Yesterday afternoon, I took the kids to Chuck E Cheese one last time before school starts. Jaden was very happy because he won the bonus on one of the games.

Yeah, it only takes 15 tokens to win the jackpot. Oh well, the kids had tons of fun. And they turned their tickets in for some awesome prizes.

And by awesome, I mean the glasses fell apart before we even reached the parking lot.

After Chuck E. Cheese, we ran into Wal-Mart next door. That’s where I saw this:

Cocoa Puffs, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, and Reese’s Puffs muffins?! Somebody please tell me that you’ve tried these before. I didn’t buy one but I wouldn’t be opposed to eating a Reese’s Puffs muffin.

At a different store later in the evening, I found this funny hoodie.

I didn’t buy it either, but it’s fun to take picture of stuff that you don’t own.

Today’s Breakfast

Ever since I first made the peach oatmeal yogurt parfait, I have been eating them like crazy. It’s so good, and the mixture of the oatmeal, peach, and yogurt gives the perfect flavor and texture combination.

I made one for breakfast this morning with a white flesh peach (so good!) and topped it with blueberries.

Today’s Workout

  • BodyPump – 60 minutes

I had a special guest at BodyPump today – Danny!

He has the day off of work because we’re heading to Wisconsin soon, so I talked him into going to BodyPump with me. Actually, he really does like BodyPump. Since you pick your own weight, it’s a good workout for anyone.

My second to last Biggest Loser weigh-in is on Monday. (The final weigh-in is actually at 6:30 am the day of the 5k). I am not very happy about the weigh-in being on Monday since we will be at my grandparent’s all weekend and there will be lots of yummy food, including s’mores.

I tend to not eat as healthy when we’re away from home and with family and friends. And it’s harder to plan meals when I’m not at home. We’ll see how it goes, and I’m going to try extra hard to really watch what I eat. I am bringing some of my own food with me to eat healthy, but whenever I do that, everyone else’s food always ends up looking so much better than mine. Then, I eat theirs.
