Just a normal BodyPump workout this morning. Tonight, I have a Biggest Loser nutrition seminar and then the 5k prep workout. Only about three more days until the Muddy Buddy, so at least I’ll get a practice run in tonight.
I mentioned before how I was accepted to sponsor Nuun in this year’s Muddy Buddy, but they couldn’t reimburse our fee since we were already signed up. Well, I contacted the wonderful people at Muddy Buddy, and they were able to reimburse our $102 fee! Yay! I was so happy! So, this Saturday we’ll be sporting our Nuun shirts and Nuun water bottles at the Muddy Buddy – I can’t wait for that giant mud pit!
After BodyPump this morning, I had an apple crumb Vita muffin top and a peach Greek yogurt.
It took me a long time to try the peach Greek yogurt, and when I finally did, I realized that it’s one of my favorite flavors.
Speaking of food, I have been loving this cranberry walnut salad that I have been buying at the grocery store lately.
It has lettuce, walnuts, cranberries, feta cheese, and mini pita chips. And it even comes with a fork.
The first time I had it, the pita chips were stale and didn’t taste good. The second time they were better, but not much, so I just don’t eat the pita chips.
This afternoon, I took the kids to the splash park to play.
While they played, I read the first few chapters of The Next Best Thing by Jennifer Weiner on my Kindle.
I love that the Kindle lets you download the first few chapters of a book to read for free. That way you can decide if you want to purchase the whole book.
After the park, we hit up 7-Eleven for some slurpees.
Slurpees are my weakness, and I’m so happy that 7-Eleven came out with a sugar-free version.
There’s only 20 calories in an 8 ounce strawberry-banana slurpee. That made me and my crazy hair happy.
Have a great afternoon!
Questions of the day:

- What’s for lunch today?
- Read any good books lately?
