Ab Work

I must have been half asleep when I wrote this morning’s post (it was before my coffee) because my brother pointed out about 57 mistakes that I made. I went back and edited it, so hopefully it’s fine. That’s what I get for trying to type so early and before my Dunkin Donut K-cup.


This morning, I had a Kashi blueberry waffle with crunchy peanut butter. I am down to one more waffle! I am not a big fan of these waffles and prefer the Van’s blueberry waffles.


  • Treadmill – Walked 35 minutes: 2.3 miles

Abs Circuit (x3) I modified this March ab workout plan that I found on Pinterest. Instead of doing the workout once, I repeated it three times.

  • 12 second plank
  • 12 second side plank (each side)
  • 24 bicycle sit-ups (12 each side)
  • 10 push-ups (yes, I do girly push-ups)
  • 25 sit-ups on exercise ball

I cooled down with 10 minutes for stretching.

The fitness room at my gym:

I only walked on the treadmill today since I haven’t been on it for a couple of weeks. My calves are still a bit sore and the bottom of my foot hurts slightly when I walk. I didn’t want to run and make it worse, so I just walked for 2.3 miles.

After coming home from the gym, I had a thinkThin fruit and nut bar.

About 40 minutes later, I was still hungry (that’s what I get for not eating a bigger breakfast!), so I had a Greek yogurt and a pear.

Then, we went to pick up Baby McCutie Butt. My mom had the day off today and lives really close to my brother, so we were able to visit with her for a while. Baby McCutie just wanted to rip her glasses off her face. That’s little girl is fast – she’s like a baby ninja! She’ll have your glasses off your face and half way across the room before you even realize what happened.

When we got back home, I made the exact same thing for lunch that I had yesterday. Apparently, variety is not the spice of my life.

  1. My nephew is a glasses stealing ninja as well! I was holding him on Sunday and before I knew what was happening, my glasses were off my face and in his mouth…good thing he’s cute.

  2. I had crackers for lunch. Booo! We have the flu in our house, and while I feel better, my usual lunch of Kale salad with tuna will have to wait for tomorrow. (creature of habit – to answer question #2)

    No workout today :(
