If you don’t already know, I had a wisdom tooth taken out yesterday, and it didn’t go as planned. The dentist sawed open my gums to remove a piece of the root. I was left with lots of pain and a few stitches.
My sweet husband went out and got me a Shamrock shake for dinner last night.
He also cut up some pizza into tiny pieces for me to eat. I hadn’t eaten all day and was starving. But I am on pain medicine from the dentist. I originally didn’t plan on taking it because I thought it would be a simple procedure. Not the case. Now, I’m in so much pain that I need to take the medicine.
But the medicine makes me nauseous and drowsy. So, after I ate my shamrock shake and pizza, I threw it all up. Attractive, I know. Then, I passed out. I slept most of the day yesterday and all night. It sucks. I need the medicine for pain, but I can’t do anything on it. Thank goodness Danny is working from home today.
I managed to eat a pancake and strawberries cut into bite sized pieces this morning.
And I had about half a cup of ice coffee. Thank goodness I still had some iced coffee k-cups.
Needless to say, I wasn’t able to work out this morning. That’s what sucks the most. This week is the last week of the Commit to be Fit Challenge at my gym. Going into this week, I was in second place with the most workouts. I was hoping to get in quite a few workouts this week, and that’s not going to happen.
Luckily, the contest in based on being entered into a drawing depending how many times you workout, not just who works out the most. So, I still have a chance.
