Evening. I’d say Good Evening, but it’s not good.
This morning, I had peanut butter toast for breakfast. I’m almost done with that stupid crunchy peanut butter! But now I’m just starting to worry that maybe the crunchy peanut butter is starting to grow on me…
After breakfast, I headed to the gym. Danny stayed home with Jaden because I had my appointment to get my wisdom tooth out at 10:30 am.
- 15 minutes stationary bike
- Cardio Fit & Tone Class
Besides the instructor, there was two of us in class. Two! It was nice because you get personalized attention, but it was bad because I couldn’t do six lunges instead of eight because of that attention.
Class was really good today and got my heart rate up. We used a bunch of equipment in class today which kept it interesting.
We jump roped for one minute straight twice. After I was done, my calves wanted to punch me in the face. I promised them a nice long foam rolling session, and they forgave me.
After the class, I hightailed it to the dentist. Hightailed. That’s such a stupid word. I hightailed it to the hijinks. I’m not high, and I don’t have a tail. I packed the rest of the Odwalla protein drink from yesterday in my trusty little cooler to drink on the way to the dentist.
I’ve gotten my other three wisdom teeth removed, so I didn’t think that this one would be a problem. I was wrong.
I usually don’t mind the dentist, but I hate the smell. Do you know that dentist smell that I’m talking about? Yuck. They gave me a shot to numb my gums, and then I starting minding going to the dentist.
That shot hurt, and I sat there thinking how dumb I was to go to the dentist. I should have stayed home. The dentist isn’t fun…at all.
Long story short, the root of my tooth was curved and broke off when the dentist pulled my wisdom tooth out. Then he couldn’t get the piece of root out of my gums. So, what did he do? He got out an electric saw. A saw! And he sawed my gums!!!
So, this is second set of stitches in my life within two weeks. My poor little gums have stitches in them. Thank goodness my wonderful husband was able to take the whole day off and stay with the kids. I have been in a lot of pain since the Novocaine wore off. And that protein drink was the last thing that I’ve eaten or drank.
I’ve slept for two hours, and I’m probably going to go back to sleep. I’ve also been taking lots of pain meds. I can’t believe how much it hurts!
I hope that you all have a great rest of the day!
